Haphazard Thoughts

taking it one step at a time...

yep. that's now my attitude towards school. never panic, just take everything thrown at you one at a time. junior year is tough, but manageable. you just have to set your mind to it.

i've been getting good scores on tests, and i'm happy. they're not the best scores in the world, but they're good enough for me. my adviser told me to keep up my grades this year because this and next year would be the basis of colleges for application. yeah, i'm trying my best.

our last basketball session in p.e. was okay. i scored on a 3 pointer, but failed on my other 6 attempts. ergh. pressure. i think i did okay though. david said i would be part of the intrams squad, whoo. i actually had a lot of fun during the game. we won by 3 points i think, and that's cool. i'm not that excited for swimming, since it's basic life saving this year. oh, and i never did like swimming in school for pe. the time allotment is just too little. i wish they made p.e. 2 periods again.

pep rally was held last thursday. normal things happened, things you should expect from a pep rally. i liked the pep squad of course. china falling twice isn't a good thing though. my heart leaped when she was flipped forward and not backward. panic mode. it's great she wasn't hurt. anyway, yun nga. usual things happened. oh, and that little girl was entertaining. haha. nakakatuwa yung dance moves niya while singing eh. and she had voice, in fairness. it's also nice that i saw you there, that lessened stress in my mind.

balancing your activities are neccessary. i don't want to be one of those people who don't have time for anything else aside from studying your ass off. it's just not worth it. i want to be as close to normal as possible. i try to go out as much as time and my body would allow me to. that has been the case every year, and i'm trying to keep it up.

friday, we went to town again. gliza and i toured town for a bit while waiting for the others to arrive. we watched fantastic four. even though the movie wasn't that well constructed, it was entertaining. oh, and having jessica alba in a movie is never bad. ahaha. the rest of the night was spent just traversing many parts of town, while talking about some chichi. mark definitely made the time in rustans entertaining enough. haha.

the class' attitude is making the workload significantly lighter on the mind. their antics are definitely award-winning. ahaha. i wish sir sabilano sings to us once again. para masaya. the different hirits make everything easier on the senses. i doubt anyone is going to disagree with me on that.

i can't believe sir laqui is my textmate. =)) we talked about the taft thing last night while i was eating my crepe in cafe breton. lol. i haven't received word from him whether i could still join next week or not. my parents want me to join, and i admit it is a great opportunity. it's colliding with the release of harry potter next week though. ahaha. so i don't know. HARRY POTTER IS HERE IN 1 WEEK! i can't wait. frequent visits to mugglenet are unavoidable.

i'll be sticking to the tv for the rest of the weekend. i'm really hooked to the f1 race, the world pool championship, and to cnn. the london bombing was really sad. ergh. and of course, philippine politics. it's weird that my ninong is actually speaking on tv about the country's issues. too bad he has no job now.

oh, if you have time and are bored, please read the survey below. thanks :D
