endings are beginnings too

after all the anticipation and anxiety clouding me over the past few weeks, i finally know my section. i'm going to be in junior-e next school year. my classmates are:

so anyway, yeah. that's my new class. it's still early, but i'm already thinking about what the year has in store for me and my class. i'm excited and nervous at the same time about how our class is going to be. also, i hope i could actually bring myself to make more friends there. it's been a while. haha. and i've never been good at social stuff so, it's going to be a difficult road ahead. i read elaine's blog earlier and i think i'm kind of in the same state as her. i'm a shy and insecure type of person so it's quite hard for me to try and socialize with different people i don't know. i hope i don't turn back to my old self of being the QUIETEST in class. anyway, the good side is, it's going to be a nice experience to make new friends again and to be in a stranger-filled environment, considering that i've been living in an all-too-redundant bubble ever since grade 4. so, that's it. hello junior year. i'll miss all my honor section classmates though. yfc and lsyc ok? hehe. and also lunch times. yehey.

anyway, i'm still addicted to lost. very addicted. right now, i've finished downloading 11 episodes. and a while ago, while looking through some sites, i found out that they're releasing a dvd version of lost. whoo. it's a 6 or 7 disc thing which they're going to sell on september i think. they estimate it's going to cost around $60 so i have to start saving up. lol. also, while boredom slipped into me this afternoon, i found some fanfics concerning lost so i read them. haha. that practically took 2 hours off my afternoon. i don't really know what's gotten into me these days. i'm so addicted to the television. right now i'm also addicted to air crash investigation shown in national geographic. i love it when they analyze how things happen and stuff, though i hate it when the plane actually crashes and people die. so anyway, i'll be watching that again tomorrow night. whee. tv addiction. it's bad for you. lol.

a while ago, i decided to push through with watching videotapes of us when we were young, specifically the one where we had a vacation in the states last 2000. funny, it seems as though it was just yesterday when we last went there. our voices sounded funny as hell. mine was like a girl's voice. haha. my brother's was even worse. lol. it was good seeing myself again, doing crazy things in front of the video camera. my brother even stripped his clothes in front of the video camera, and if i want to blackmail him in the future, i've got just the thing to use. haha. bad kuya. i think i'll be watching more of those tomorrow or on wednesday, when i have time.

earlier this morning i cleaned my room. i fixed the stuff in my bags and the things lying around. it's amazing how many papers from school are actually scattered around my room thinking it's only been 1 1/2 years since we moved here. and yes, i've only cleaned my school things now, 1 month after the school year ended. lol. sorry, my laziness caught up to me. and of course, i got the usual colds right after cleaning dirty things. i ended up throwing a lot of garbage. oh, and while rummaging all over my room, i found things that reminded me of my previous section. see, i was cleaning about 20 minutes after i had learned of my new section. it dawned on me that we'd never be fully together again, so that was another reflective moment. i've had a lot of those since the end of the school year, and i expect to have more in the months to come. oh well.

lastly, the conclave is going to start in a while, i think. or maybe they started already. personally, i think the new pope should be coming from africa or south america. it would be sending the message of expansion of catholicism to all countries. it's pretty symbolic if that happens. as for my other comments, i think it's best i reserve it to myself for now. i'll be watching cnn again over the next few days to see who the next pope is going to be. may God be with all the cardinals as they make their decision.
