isa nanamang pagpapahayag ni hulian (di ka pa ba bored?)

yeah, like the title said, aren't you tired of me ranting yet? sorry if you are, i have nothing else to do here at home, so i might as well just write right? it's the only thing keeping my study habits in tact right now. i don't even know if i could still write, and right now i'm figuring that i can't, since that's what happens to me every summer. but it's all nice, at least it's a break from school. btw, thanks to jam for the title =)) it's filipino! lalang. so anyway, if you're bored already, sorry again. haha. oh no, candy shop just played again in mtv =)). everytime i hear it i get lss from it T_T. sad.

habemus papam. we have a new pope. a new pope for the roman catholic church was elected at around midnight earlier this morning, based from what i heard in cnn and from my other friends. sadly, i have no phone to receive or send messages to spread the word. hopefully i'll get a phone this weekend though, so hooray! anyway, back to topic. the late pope john paul II finally has a successor in the form of cardinal joseph ratzinger, now known and called as pope benedict XVI. why did he take this name? well, according to what i heard, he wanted to continue what the previous pope benedict did and probably do even better. but i'm not really sure. hmm. so yeah, i just missed the live event happening last night, as i slept at 11:30. too bad. but the power of replay is really nice, right? i think i got 10 replays of the pope being announced to the thousands in st. peter's square and to the whole world. i'd like to thank cnn and bbc for being my channel to the news. i've learned a lot about the roman catholic church, it's history, and it's modern problems that i never knew before due to the channels. modern technology really is a big help. anyway, so the pope's german, another european pope. i wonder when the tradition would finally change, when a non-european pope reigns. i hope the new pope makes peace with all nations and tries to communicate with everyone in the world, all religions, and all people who have concerns. i hope he could stabilize the world and be firm in his decisions. as for those people (esp americans and western europeans) who want immediate change and are disappointed at the election of such a pope, a very conservative one at that, i hope they could understand that change is hard and the pope does what he does for the best. he has strong theological beliefs and i think we should respect that. and of course, before we critisize someone, shouldn't we first see what he will do? that's just my opinion. hopefully, the pope visits the philippines. oh, i saw some philippine flags a while ago while the new pope was being announced. go go go! lol. LONG LIVE THE POPE!

there are about 1 and a half months of summer left. right now, it's packing up with loads of activities. on april 23, my family's going to enchanted kingdom! yehey. it's a company outing thing of my dad, so yeah. whee. when may 1 comes, we'll be going to boracay. i myself haven't been there yet, but i'm sure it's going to be a great experience. then there's this class outing thing on may 20 or 21. i'm almost sure i could go, and i'm really excited about it. we still haven't decided on the place we're going to, but i'm pretty sure it's in batangas. beach! whoo. i want to see sophomore c together again, even for the last time. drama =)). summer's going to be more hectic as the days pass by, i just know it.

many people are going to other countries for vacation this year. rodney said that he saw snow this year. i'm just wondering why i haven't seen snow in the united states. grr. it's always a week before we arrive that the snow stops. T_T. it's annoying actually. i want to experience snow! haha. i hope i do next time we go to a different country. oh, and about the smell of the air there, i also wonder why that is. i read it from rodney's blog earlier, and i have had the same question in mind for years. the phrase "amoy states" is really true. i wonder what causes the different smells in different countries. hmm. research!

i have to go back to school for my uniforms and stuff. just this morning, i learned that i have to get a school id. it's not just a privelege for me, it's a neccessity. it's not like i have an old school id to use. they all got stolen from THAT day. oh well. so it's another adventure ahead. i don't know what'll happen when i get photographed while other people are looking at me. scary thought.

there are some disadvantages of living here in cavite. i mean, the place is great and all, and i love my house, but if it only were closer to manila. haha. first of all, due to its' placement, so far from manila, few people could actually come here. i rarely have my friends around, as opposed to alabang where i could just hold a party any day. next, i can't call anyone for long periods of time. i used to have the luxury of 'telebabad' when i was in alabang, but now, no. it gets boring at times due to the lack of civilization roaming around. it's like dead city. haha. now, i could only call in times of emergency from schoolwork, or just in times of desperation, when i have to talk to someone. but that has limits in time too. then there's the problem of going to places. it's not like before, where we could just go out for 30 minutes and go to town, or dress up for a gimmick already 10 minutes late. now you have to be always early, and you have to spend enormous amounts of time traveling. lastly, the cable tv. lol. it's shallow, but the reception here is dumb. we lack channels, and they hang up all the time due to satellite feed problems. i really wish we had another cable network. haha. anyway, at least there are also advantages to these things. i'm able to be more punctual, to be thrifty, to be appreciative of time and gasoline =)). i also figured out that you don't need to spend every night talking with friends over the phone, though that's still nice. haha. weee. in the end, i'm thankful i live where i live.

lastly, addiction to the nba has gotten me weird. now i spend my day playing the nba live 2005 game. it's another one of those streaks in my life where i spend too much time on one thing. obsession, that's what it is. lol. all the lost episode downloads are complete! haha. i just couldn't find episodes 10, 16, and 17 from the net. too bad. it's time for a marathon! whoo. goodbye all =)
